Appeal for citizens to have proper understandings of Local Gov’t Jobs
The 11th Exhibition of Local Gov’t Jobs Helpful for Living: Yokohama-Shiju
YOKOHAMA—On October 30, Sunday, the 11th “Exhibition of Local Government Jobs Helpful for Living” took place at Shin-Toshin Plaza adjacent to JR Yokohama station, with 2000 citizens turning out for it.
At the hall, members of Yokohama-Shiju (Jichiroren’s local union organized by Yokohama city hall employees and non-clerical staff: school cooks and janitors, sanitation workers, swage workers, boiler engineers at the whole meat market, and child care workers) displayed panels illustrating their duties and workplaces. Some members demonstrated how they do their jobs.
